Our expertise
The knowledge and skills cultivated within the Sorbonne University Alliance provide a unique lever for bringing multidisciplinary expertise to global health.
The newly created ASU-GHI looks to the future by mobilising all areas of expertise – from biology, medicine and health economics to biomedical humanities and digital health – in order to support public policy and assist the private sector. It aims to rethink knowledge production and will implement projects designed to:
- Develop innovative and integrated indicators to evaluate the performance of healthcare systems, taking into account clinical, social and environmental data.
Establish systems for observing and monitoring health policies in order to better anticipate demographic and health challenges. - Work with healthcare providers and patients to co-develop appropriate and effective solutions, ensuring greater acceptance and practical application of innovations.
- Offer expertise to the private sector, particularly in assessing the impact of medical technologies and e-health strategies, and support the development of health initiatives.
This interdisciplinary and participatory approach will aim to transform health investments into concrete opportunities for innovation and sustainable improvement in the quality of life of populations.
