Career
Marie Jaspard is an infectious and tropical diseases physician. She holds a PhD in clinical epidemiology on the subject of operational research into emerging infectious diseases in sub-Saharan Africa, and is currently an associate professor in the infectious and tropical diseases department at Saint-Antoine hospital in Paris. She is also researcher at Inserm (IPLESP team, UMR 1136) and teacher at Sorbonne university. She has carried out a number of humanitarian missions with MSF, ALIMA and the French Red Cross, especially during outbreak in sub Saharan Africa. She is the coordinating Principal Investigator of the INTEGRATE Lassa therapeutic trial and of the Ebola post exposure prophylaxis trial. She also coordinate the Master 2 in Global Health Emerging Medical Issues (GEME) at Sorbonne University.
