Éric Fleutelot
Technical Director of the “Major Pandemics” Division at Expertise France
Career
Éric Fleutelot has extensive experience in community health, grant management, and program administration. Until September 2014, he served as Deputy Director General of Sidaction, a French NGO fighting HIV, where he was responsible for international affairs and programs. From 2014, he became Regional Advisor for Global Health in Southeast Asia, based at the French Embassy in Bangkok. In this role, he oversaw French health investments (mainly through multilateral contributions) and public health policies in ten Southeast Asian countries on behalf of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE).
Since April 2019, he has been leading the “Major Pandemics” division at Expertise France, which includes L’Initiative, a complementary facility to the Global Fund for AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. He also manages the SUCCESS program, aimed at secondary prevention of cervical cancer in four countries, supported by Unitaid.
