Call for applications: doctoral contracts 2026
The ASU-GHI is launching its first call for doctoral projects, which will fund three interdisciplinary scientific projects in global health.
Interdisciplinary research, for and with society
The research program of the Global Health Institute of the Sorbonne University Alliance relies largely on the annual funding of three doctoral contracts.
Seven projects are open for applications until April 24, 2026, and are published on the Doctoral College website. The online application form is also available there.

Schedule for the second phase
- From 26 March to 24 April 2026: Candidates must contact the project leaders before submitting their application on the dedicated website. Applications must then be submitted on the dedicated website (LimeSurvey).
- 18 and 21 May 2026: Candidate interviews. Candidates will be assessed on the quality of their academic background and research skills, the suitability of their profile for the project, their ability to understand and explain the project they are proposing, and their ability to answer the jury's questions. Successful candidates will be attached to the doctoral school of their thesis supervisor.
- 28 May 2026: The Institutes & Initiatives send the results of the interviews to the Doctoral College and contact the successful candidates and those who have not been selected. The Doctoral College posts the results on its website.
Auditions will only take place if candidates are invited by name. Only one candidate will be auditioned per project.
