Nutrition
The “Nutrition” research axis aims to achieve a lasting reduction in food insecurity among young adults, which remains a major issue of social justice, academic success, and well-being.
Why the Nutrition research axis?
Malnutrition, whether caused by deficiencies or excesses, remains a major challenge worldwide and across our campuses. Because it lies at the intersection of food environments, lifestyles, and inequalities, nutrition is at the heart of global health.
At the ASU-GHI, we work to strengthen a “Nutrition and Health” culture, reduce food insecurity, and encourage health-promoting practices.
