Digital Health & Technology
The “Digital Health & Technology” research axis harnesses digital innovations, artificial intelligence, medical technologies and data science to transform prevention, diagnosis, care and research in global health.
Why the Digital Health & Technology axis?
Digital technologies are currently revolutionising the entire healthcare pathway. Big data, artificial intelligence, connected devices, robotics and telehealth are opening up new avenues for a better understanding of diseases, personalised treatments and improved access to care.
At the ASU-GHI, this research area aims to develop responsible innovations, grounded in interdisciplinary approaches and scientific evaluation. It fosters collaboration between researchers, clinicians, engineers and data specialists to design useful, ethical and accessible solutions that serve global health.
