ELOCAN Project

More than 3 million French people are living with cancer or have been cured of it. The significant progress made in recent years in terms of cancer treatment raises new issues. Former cancer patients sometimes encounter difficulties related to education, employment or borrowing, which is the subject of this study.

The ELOCAN study aims to improve understanding of the difficulties faced by former cancer patients with regard to real estate or professional loan projects.

This study is being conducted by a team of researchers in sociology and public health affiliated with the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm) and Sorbonne University.
