Among the key figures involved in this initiative is Emmanuel Flamand-Roze, Professor of Neurology at Sorbonne Université and a member of the ASU-GHI. As co-author of the Serment d’Augusta podcast, he contributes to fostering collective reflection on the evolution of healthcare practices and on the role of patients within our healthcare system.

Linked to the podcast Le Serment d’Augusta, this oath aims to complement the commitments traditionally enshrined in the Hippocratic Oath by extending them to all healthcare professions. It asserts that the quality of care rests on a shared responsibility between the various professionals, patients and their loved ones.

This vision resonates with the principles of global health, promoting an interdisciplinary, person-centred approach to addressing today’s major health and societal challenges.

This inaugural event will feature a programme combining exhibitions, participatory workshops, meetings with organisations, artistic performances and personal accounts centred on issues in healthcare.

The evening will conclude with a performance, followed by the first collective recitation of the Oath of Augusta, bringing together recent graduates from Sorbonne University’s health programmes and practising professionals from various healthcare disciplines.
