How can scientific knowledge be transformed into practical solutions to improve people’s health and well-being? How can we develop more effective, equitable and sustainable models of prevention?

The sessions organised by the ASU-GHI fully reflect this ambition by highlighting initiatives at the intersection of academic research, entrepreneurship, digital technologies and public policy.

The topics covered will include, in particular:

• regional health innovation ecosystems;
• wastewater epidemiology as a tool for monitoring public health;
• health prevention through data and new technologies;
• tackling food insecurity amongst students;
• innovations in cognitive health and healthy ageing.

By bringing together academic staff, start-ups, healthcare professionals, local authorities and members of the public, the ASU-GHI helps to shape a vision of global health based on prevention, innovation and societal impact.
