Workshop “New Developments and Alternative Models in Health Innovation”

The Global Health Institute, in collaboration with the Crisis and Transitions Analysis Research Unit (Université Sorbonne Paris Nord) and the COSTECH Laboratory (Université de technologie de Compiègne), is organizing a workshop on March 26–27, 2026, dedicated to recent developments and alternative models in the field of health innovation.

  • From 26 Mar. 2026 to 27 Mar. 2026

  • MSH Paris Nord, 20 Avenue George Sand, 93210 La Plaine Saint-Denis

This workshop aims to provide a critical analysis of ongoing transformations in the pharmaceutical and health innovation sectors. It will address a wide range of topics, including emerging innovation models, regulatory frameworks, industrial and financial dynamics, as well as associated societal implications – particularly regarding access to treatments.

The event seeks to foster interdisciplinary exchange by bringing together researchers from both the natural and social sciences. Through these interactions, it aims to contribute to the identification of new research avenues, the evaluation of existing analytical frameworks, and the development of scientific collaborations around current and future challenges in health innovation.

The workshop will also offer an overview of ongoing research and the theoretical debates structuring the field, situating individual contributions within a broader research framework.

Free admission, no prior registration required. Online participation is available, please contact Erdem Sakınç (mustafaerdem.sakinc@univ-paris13.fr) or Leonhard Kersten (leonhard.kersten@gmail.com).
