Research Project Officer at the Student Health Department

Career

Europe Blanckart is a Research Project Officer at the Student Health Department of Sorbonne University, working on the IMPACT-HPV project led by ASU-GHI.

She holds degrees from Université Paris-Saclay and the Institut Pasteur, with training in infectious diseases and public health, as well as international experience in these fields. She has developed expertise in environmental epidemiology within the OBEPINE network, contributing to innovative research on pathogen surveillance through wastewater monitoring. Her initial academic training in life sciences at Sorbonne University provides her with a strong understanding of the institutional and scientific environment in which the IMPACT-HPV project is embedded.

Within the Student Health Department, she is responsible for coordinating and supporting the scientific implementation of the project, in collaboration with academic, medical, and institutional partners. She contributes to structuring transdisciplinary activities, supporting participatory research in global health, and assisting in the identification of funding opportunities.

Her missions are dedicated to strengthening prevention strategies and improving student health through innovative approaches that integrate research, intervention, and public policy.

About the IMPACT-HPV Project

Logistically and financially supported by the ASU-GHI and the Papill’Eau project (ANRS-MIE), this project is part of the Institute’s “Health & Environment” axis, coordinated by Jean-Baptiste Fini (member of the ASU-GHI Executive Committee and professor at the MNHN), in collaboration with the three faculties of Sorbonne University and the Student Health Department.

The project is based on an integrated approach structured around three complementary components: an observational study led by the OBEPINE+ platform, a vaccination campaign coordinated by the SSE, and a sociological and behavioural study conducted by the GEMASS laboratory.
