Through its research, training and public policy support activities, the ASU-GHI aims to contribute to a better understanding of the determinants of health and to the implementation of appropriate responses to contemporary challenges.

It brings together researchers, academic staff and practitioners from a range of disciplines around an integrated approach to health issues, combining biological, environmental, social and political dimensions.
